THE CHILLING EFFECT

"The Chilling Effect: Pain Patients in the War on Drugs"

I thank John Chase and Linda Paey for joining us, and for all of you who attended. I think the audience was shocked concerning the long sentences handed down for doctors and patients concerning those with chronic pain. Thank you for joining us in this interesting talk. Gary Przyborski

Americans face a medical crisis, where those in need, are often denied pain relief due to the intervention of the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA).

Why are patients being abandoned by their doctors?

How dangerous are opiates, compared to other drugs?

What is the effect of untreated pain on the body?

What changes to anti-drug policy are indicated?

Join us for a showing of the DVD, "The Chilling Effect: Pain Patients in the War on Drugs" and the follow up discussion. Refreshments will be served.
