About Funerals Orlando
The Funeral Consumers Alliance of Greater Orlando has been protecting the public's right to choose meaningful, dignified, and affordable funeral arrangements since our founding in 1963. It is our mission to serve as a resource for the general public, legislators, the funeral industry, and the media by providing authoritative advice on all matters relating to funeral and memorial arrangements. We believe the best way to do this is to support legal reforms to better protect the public, and serve as a clearing house for complaints of illegal or unethical treatment by the funeral industry. We do regular price and quality surveys of funeral homes, in the greater Orlando area, and recommend funeral providers who offer the best value to our members.
Alliances
We are an affiliate of the Funeral Consumer's Alliance, www.funerals.org, a national, nonprofit, non-sectarian 501(c)(3) organization.
We are also affiliated with the Florida Funeral Consumers Federation, which is based in Tallahassee and helps pass legislation to protect consumer's rights.
