Marc Adams "From Fundamentalism to Freedom"
Marc will relate his life story growing up gay as the son of a Fundamentalist minister. He attended Jerry Falwell’s Liberty University where he was employed for 3 ½ years. His book “The Preacher’s Son” articulately relates the struggle to conform and his journey coming to terms with being gay and how he came to be a UU .

Mark Spivey "God at the Movies"
Rev. Spivey is a thanatologist with dual Master’s Degrees in Clinical Social Work and Theology. He serves Hospice of Volusia-Flagler as a Spiritual Care Counselor. He will be exploring the cinematic renderings of “ what we look for in a God”

Rachel Newcomb, PhD "Sufism- The Opposite of Fundamentalism"
Dr. Newcomb is an Assistant Professor of Anthropology at Rollins College. She returns to present this exploration of mysticism which is an under reported aspect of Islam.

David McElroy "Experience, Strength and Hope"
David, popular actor, director, playwright and UUUS member shares his personal journey of overcoming as an adult child of an alcoholic. David speaks of his broken home from the perspective of the 12 step program which aided him in learning to become an adult.
